Crick Secure Dog Field - Home Farm Cottage, Watford Road, Watford, Northamptonshire, NN6 7UE

1. Definitions

  • “The Field” refers to the enclosed dog exercise area operated by New Walk Properties Ltd trading as "Crick Secure Dog Field".

  • “User” means any individual hiring or entering the field.

  • “Dogs” refers to all animals brought onto the premises by the User.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance via our online booking system.

​

3. Use of the Field

  • The field is provided for private hire during your booked time slot.

  • Users must enter and exit promptly, ensuring they do not overlap with other users.

  • Users must ensure gates are securely closed at all times.

​

4. Responsibility for Dogs

  • Dogs must remain under the control and supervision of the User at all times.

  • Users confirm that all dogs:

    • Are fully vaccinated 

    • Are free from contagious illness

    • Are not dangerously aggressive

  • Puppies must not be brought before completing core vaccinations unless agreed in advance.

5. Number of Dogs

  • A maximum number of dogs per session applies  and is clearly noted when the booking is made (unless otherwise agreed).

  • Professional dog walkers or trainers must book the correct session type and declare the number of dogs.

6. Safety and Conduct

  • Use of the facility is entirely at the User’s own risk.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

  • No smoking, alcohol misuse, or illegal substances are permitted.

  • Users must not climb on fencing or interfere with fixtures.

  • Users must respect neighbouring properties at all times, keeping noise (including barking, shouting, and vehicle noise) to a minimum, particularly during early mornings and evenings.

  • Users must not approach, disturb, or feed any neighbouring horses, livestock or wildlife under any circumstances.

7. Arrival and Departure

  • Do not enter the field before your allocated time.

  • Allow sufficient time to safely secure your dogs before leaving.

  • The field must be vacated promptly at the end of your session.

​

8. Waste and Cleanliness

  • Users must pick up and remove all dog waste or dispose of it in provided bin.

  • Any excessive mess (including digging damage) must be reported immediately.

  • Failure to clean up after dogs may result in additional charges or refusal of future bookings.

9. Damage

  • Users are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their dogs.

  • Any damage must be reported as soon as possible.

  • Repair costs may be charged where appropriate.

​

10. Liability

  • New Walk Properties Ltd accepts no liability for:

    • Injury to Users or Dogs

    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property

    • Incidents between dogs

  • Users accept full responsibility for their dogs’ behaviour and actions, including in the event of a dogs escape from the Field.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations may be made up to 72 hours before the booking, after that bookings may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the booking.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows are not refundable.

  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to extreme weather, maintenance, or safety reasons.

12. Weather Conditions

  • The field may become muddy or uneven.

  • Users accept all natural conditions and use the field at their own risk.

​

13. Emergencies

  • In case of emergency, contact details are displayed on site.

  • Users must report:

    • Escaped dogs

    • Fence damage

    • Hazards immediately

​

14. Termination of Use

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings for:

    • Breach of these Terms & Conditions

    • Unsafe or irresponsible behaviour

    • Aggressive or dangerous dogs

​

15. Data Protection

Personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements.

​

16. CCTV

For the safety and security of all users, dogs, and property, the Field is monitored by CCTV.

​

By entering the premises, you acknowledge and agree that:​

  • CCTV cameras are in operation and may record video and/or audio at all times while you are on site.

  • Recordings are used for security, safety, incident investigation, and the enforcement of these Terms and Conditions.

  • Footage may be shared with relevant authorities (e.g. police, insurers, or legal representatives) where necessary.

  • All data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

  • CCTV recordings are retained for a limited period and then securely deleted unless required for investigation or legal purposes.

If you do not consent to being recorded, you must not use the Field.

17. Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking and using the Field, the User confirms they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
